Accessing Soloroide from a corporate network
Soloroide is a business software-as-a-service application. Some corporate web filters, VPNs, and endpoint-security products (e.g. Microsoft Defender, Cato, Zscaler, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Cisco Umbrella) block domains they haven't yet categorized — even legitimate ones. If you see an SSL/cipher error, a "403 Forbidden", or a "blocked by your IT admin" message when visiting Soloroide, your network security is blocking us before the request reaches our servers. Our service is healthy; the block is a default policy on your side.
The page below is written so you can forward it to your IT or security team to get Soloroide allowlisted. It takes them a few minutes.
What to allowlist
| Purpose | Host(s) | Ports |
|---|---|---|
| Main application + website | soloroide.comwww.soloroide.com | 443 (HTTPS), 80 (redirect only) |
| Live preview environments (optional) | *.preview.soloroide.com | 443 |
Please allowlist both the apex (soloroide.com) and the www host. If your policy supports wildcards, *.soloroide.com covers everything.
Recommended category
Soloroide should be classified as Business / Information Technology / Computers & Technology / Software-as-a-Service. It is a legitimate operational business application — not user-generated content, adult, gambling, or malware. If your filter currently shows it as uncategorized or newly observed, please recategorize it accordingly (your vendor's "request categorization" form is usually the fastest path).
Connection / TLS details (for TLS-inspection policies)
- Soloroide serves TLS 1.2 and TLS 1.3 with modern ECDHE cipher suites (AES-GCM, ChaCha20-Poly1305). It does not support deprecated TLS 1.0/1.1 or legacy ciphers, by design.
- If your TLS-inspection appliance can only negotiate older protocols/ciphers, it may fail the handshake and surface a
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH. The fix is to addsoloroide.comto your TLS-inspection bypass/exclusion list, or update the appliance's TLS profile. - The application uses secure WebSockets (
wss://) on port 443 for its live terminal and real-time features. Please ensure WebSocket upgrades tosoloroide.comare not stripped.
Hosting & IP ranges
Soloroide is served over HTTPS on standard port 443. We recommend allowlisting by domain name rather than IP, because our edge IP addresses may change. If your policy is strictly IP-based, contact us at support@soloroide.com and we'll provide the current ranges.
Still blocked?
Email support@soloroide.com with the exact error message and (if known) the security product your organization uses. We'll point your IT team to the precise allowlist/recategorization step for that vendor.
